Teen Dies On Lancaster Sidewalk: Police (Developing)

A 17-year-old was found on a Lancaster city sidewalk on Monday morning and soon died, police announced on Oct. 16.

The teenager was spotted by Lancaster City Bureau of Police officers on a routine patrol in the 100 block of North Prince Street at approximately 3:44 a.m.

"It was determined the individual was beyond medical help and were pronounced deceased shortly after they were discovered," the police said. 

Detective Adam Dommel of the Lancaster City Bureau of Police and a deputy coroner from the Lancaster County Coroner's Office responded to the incident. 

The 17-year-old was a Manheim Township resident. Their name has not been released as of noon.

"While there were no indications of foul play, the investigation remains ongoing,"; the police said.
